SAS Department bags awards in MATENAKAN 2023

The School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) brought home three (3) awards in MATENAKAN 2023: Pamanuli King Indung Sisuan which was held on September 14, 2023, Thursday.

MATENAKAN 2023: Pamanuli King Indung Sisuan is this year’s theme of the Youth Advocate and Development Week, organized by the Holy Angel University-University Student Council (HAU-USC). The event marked this year as its first in-person celebration after being held online for the past 3 years.

SAS students represented their department (Tibuan ning Burarul) and showcased their talents in all of the event competitions which were AMLAT: Pamagbalik king Masalang Pintulungan (Short Film), GULIS: Alaya Ning Obrang Kapampangan (Poster Making), INDAC: Misasanmetung keng Pamaglayag King Kulturang Kapampangan (Cultural Dance), KORO: Culala Da Ring Siuala (Speech Choir), and SIGLA: Casampatan ning Musika (Singing).

In the awarding ceremony, Tibuan ning Burarul earned 2nd Runner Up in GULIS (Poster Making Competition), and was hailed Champion in AMLAT (Short Film Competition) which had also bagged special awards namely, “Best in Editing” and “Best in Cinematography”

The School of Business and Accountancy (Tibuan ning Daung) was hailed overall champion with the School of Engineering and Architecture (Tibuan ning Dukit) following through with first-runner up, and the Basic Education Department (Tibuan ning Gawang Pande) as second runner-up.
