Communication representatives from Holy Angel University (HAU) joined in the celebration of the University of the Assumption’s Mise-En-Scene Film Festival last April 24.
The theme, LINGKAG aims to represent cultural interconnectedness through the weaves of diverse narratives and creativity. Students from UA showcased seven short films that exhibited various stories emphasizing the importance of love within oneself, family, friends, and God Himself.
In an exclusive interview with Erna Montemayor, the president of the UA Mass Communication Students Association (MCSA), she highlighted that one of the main goals of this event was to amplify the passion of creatives in the field of filmmaking.
“Ayon talaga ang main goal ang mapalaganap pa yung passion for filmmaking and para makainspire ng iba pang filmmakers,” Montemayor stated in the interview.
Meanwhile, Karen Crineza Rivera, the communication program coordinator of HAU, expressed how these kinds of events can build bridges amongst creatives, allowing them to deepen their knowledge and foster their talents in the artistry and science of filmmaking.
